easy to enter, rewarding to win
veneer tech competition
supports industry creativity
The Veneer Tech Craftsman’s Challenge™ competition
recognizes excellence in woodwork and architectural
woodwork that features natural veneer and wood product
applications–whoever the material source company may be.
Impartial judges from all segments of the industry will select
winning entries that use veneer products in the best way
while achieving the project’s stated goals.
Awards will be made in the categories of Architectural
Woodworking, Cabinetry, Furniture, Store Fixtures, and
Specialty Items. There is also a Student Design category.
One Grand Prize winning entry will be selected.
In addition to valuable publicity afforded all entrants, the
Grand Prize entry merits one $3000 award to the designer/
craftsman (plus a $1000 early entry bonus); one $2000 award
to the supplying distributor; and one $1000 award to the
supplying sales rep. Each of the six category winning entries
will also be awarded $1000. Non-cash awards will be given in
each category at the discretion of the judges; there may also
be special awards for marquetry within the main categories.
Deadline for entry is June 11, 2010. Award winners will
be notified prior to the official announcement to be made
during the IWF 2010 in Atlanta, GA.
plus $1000 bonus for grand prize winning entry if entered by march 31, 2010
