CabinetMakerFDM has
launched an iPad App that
gives a new definition to a digital magazine. The App, which
can be downloaded free from
Apple, gives readers full access to the magazine, interactive features, and news and
product feeds from www.
CabinetMakerFDM.com.
The App is more than a
simple page viewer. The reader
can choose between seeing thumbnails
of a page, a full page, or enlarged text
versions of stories. It also allows viewers
to link through directly to more features,
advertising information, and videos, as
well as access to RSS feeds from CabinetMakerFDM.com.
The App also allows viewers to easily
bookmark stories, share stories with
colleagues, and to search current and
past issues.
The iPad App joins the iPhone
App, launched in March, and the Mobile
Web Reader that gives readers many
of these same features on other mobile
devices, such as a Droid or Blackberry,
simply by pointing the devices’ browser
to www.cabinetmakerfdm-digital.com.
“This gives our readers access to
all digital editions on any portable device
Thumbnails of
all stories can be

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
they choose,” says Bruce Plantz, Publisher
of CabinetMakerFDM. “We have worked
hard to be on the leading edge with digital
technology with our brand, and we’ve been
gratified by the amount of usage we’ve seen
on the iPhone App. Readers can now use
the digital editions of the magazine from
anywhere on their mobile devices.”
