Fletcher Machine’s PUR
contour bander has PLC strip
length control and a power-assisted feed wheel. The
machine applies PUR glue
directly to the banding material,
with programmed band length
and a foot pedal to start the
cycle. The bander incorporates
Nordson Purblue 4 technology, which is a 2-kg melter
connected to Nordson EPC 60
pattern control, connected to
a Nordson EB 60 Slot die head.
The machine is capable of
performing banding to 3 mm.
